About Wayne
With over 45 years of experience in the landscape industry as a horticulture consultant and landscape designer. As a horticulture and landscape instructor, he has helped thousands of green industry professional and consultants advance their careers. Since teaching his first ornamental horticulture class in 1978 at Fullerton College, and then Cal Poly Pomona and U.C. Irvine, he has proudly served the landscape industry as a board member for the Southern California Xeriscape Committee, the California Park and Recreation Society, and the American Society of Irrigation Consultants. Wayne was also a member of the state-wide task force who developed California’s first Fuel Modification Zone plant list in 1993. Sharing his horticulture knowledge with homeowners throughout Southern California, Wayne presents seminars at landscape shows and Xeriscape conferences, including radio and television appearances for sustainable landscapes and water conservation.
